I let a friend borrow my car and he calls me saying that he can't "get into any gears." So he drives back to my place in first gear going 35 mph while the rev's are still at 2000 (weird) So I check it out and he's right all the gears are slop. What could be the problem? Linkage? My suspension is old and the car bounces around a bit so maybe the bolt in the linkage lossened up and fell out?
