Default My first Saab

Hello,

My name is Patrick, I just traded in my 2006 VW GTI for a 2007 Saab 9-3 2.0T laser red. It's my first Saab and a lot of people I talked too said not to buy it, but I liked it too much. It is so much cooler than that little hatchback.

Are there any sites out therewith performanceparts for thisnew of a vehicle?

Anyone know of anythings I should be careful of? A couple people told me that Saabs are known to have window regulators go bad and water pumps go bad.

It's a new car, enjoy it. And ask those who tell you not to buy a saab if they have actually ever owned one. I don't know about the newest saabs, but I sure love my 99 9-3. As reliable as my previous honda and pretty cheap and easy to fix. Performance parts for this new of a vehicle will be scarce. I actually don't know of any, but this brand has a good aftermarket following and I'll let you know when somethign comes out for it.

Yeah, I really like it and I live in Springfield, MO. Home to Taliaferro Imports, Inc. So, I guess that is a plus.

that is a BIG plus...see if they can develop parts based on your car...that would be an added benefit to you since they might cut you a good deal

I e-mailed and asked them about getting it tuned and what else they might be able to do. I understand I have to be a little careful about thewarrenty, but I'm not to worried about it. I'd rather have stuff done to it and enjoy it more. I will let you know what they come up with.
