Default AUX input on stock unit.one channel is not workong.

Hello saab community,sorry if there's a thread about AUX upgrades here i just couldn't find it.

i was following this DIY manual from here,the unit looks slightly different though

So here's my problem :after connecting my aux cable to CD- left and right marked contacts on the board and ground ,and disconnecting CD-L and CD-R from the white ribbon i was enjoying good sound quality but not for long.Several minutes after the right channel shut off and never got back,the left channel still works.When in radio mode two channels work normal.

I guess i did something wrong and just fried the amp.I'm not too advanced in the radio electronics so i need your help ,to explain what i did wrong and how to fix it.i can get a replacement unit or should i go for an aftermarket or maybe the one i have is still fixable.
