Default Small dents and scratches

I just bought an '07 Aero and for the most part it was in perfect condition other than a couple spots that may be door dings and a small rock impact on the front edge of the hood. None of these are really that visible unless you get up close. I have some scratch remover but I am not sure what to for the small dent and the rock mark on the hood. Any suggestions other than paying the dealership to take them out. I have some pictures that I can post if anyone wants to take a look.

The dent any mobile dent repair guy should be able to fix for cheap. All used car dealers have a connection with one of them so I'd ask there. The rock chip is really something that a body shop should fix. After that is fixed I would get one of those clear vinyl protectors for the edge of the hood.

Roto - do you have a line on where to get a clear vinyl protector? Only ones I've ever seen have been black.

Most tint shops carry it. http://www.automotivearticles.com/Clear_Bra_3M.shtml - read it.

Well I'll be...

That stuff looks great! All I need is a LOT of body repair prior to protecting it. [sm=smiley17.gif]

You haven't seen the leading edge of my hood... I'd be damned if I don't put this on once I get a new paintjob...however it's a lot cheaper for me...since I'm in the whole vinyl business :-D
