Default Drowned 900s running probs..HELP

New bloke with a 1st SAAB 900s convertible 1995....got drowned in a raging torent of water on Friday last...car is full of water.Gutted only had the car half hour...enuff of that..managed to start the car and get it home.When starting it up it fired but wont tick over/idle....check engine light is on but did go off and on intermitently for about 20 miles..then stayed on..car still wont idle...checked the ox sensor cleaned it etc and also all visible connections with healthy squirt of the WD 40 stuff..car starts fine but still cuts out when the revs drop...any help ta?

stuck idcle control valve is one place to look.

well you take it off (post a pic of the underhood and I'll try to pint you in the right direction, and that you clean it out....if it work afterwards you've got your problem.
