Default First Saab purchase..question..opinions???

I'm not an official Saab owner yet, but wanted some opinions about my pending purchase. The deal is: I think I am going to buy a 2000 9-3 with 116k($3000), sounds great right? The catch: the currant owner says the car runs like a top but doesn't seem to have as much get up and go as it use to. The only problem I can think of off the top of my head is that it needs a new turbo. But if thats not the case what else could be wrong? Is this a good deal or should I back out? Thanks, Nikki

Default RE: First Saab purchase..question..opinions???

Talk the owner down to $2500 and do a full tune-up. Include Fuel filter, new plugs, cleaning the oil pan and checking hte turbo as part of it.
