Default Headlights on 9-3 Aero

Hi

Just bought my first SAAB'04, 9-3 Aero package. Didn't come with a manual.

I am having a hard time figuring out the DRL and why there is a bulb in my headlamp that isn't used...or never comes on!?

I read a post regarding the Daytime running lamps...I know the Xeon's are self adjusting lights, but should they be on all the time???

any help would be appreciated until my manual comes...

thnx

are your regular headlights on all the time? The DRLs may have been disabled...

yeah...the regular lights are on whenever the car is on....day or night..with or without the headlight **** turned to the on position.

i noticed two small bulbs that did come on at one point just noticable enough so you can see them when you are looking at the car during the day....

I'm from Central PA by the way..

On older 9-3's we'd just pull fuse #15 and it would "enable" the lights switch... I'm not sure if same still holds true about the newer ones, if not, the dealer can disable DRL's through a Tech2.

I will try pulling that and see if that does the trick. I will let you know.
