Default help! considering saab 9-5 aero

hello everyone,

i've decided to get a used saab but can't decide which one. if money was not an issue i'd get a 9-5 aero (after i test drove a new one). the problem is that the used ones i've looked at (2202's with about 30, 000 miles) seem to idle heavily. that kind of scares me as i've had bmw's until now that were problem cars. is there a mechanical reason for this? is it because the engine is significant larger? do they require more maintenance than other saabs?

the 9-3 arc was a great ride. felt a lot like the bmw 328 i just got done with (lease). cool dash as well.

the 9-5 arc is very nice, especially with all the options but the drive feels more like an american luxury car when compared with other european cars. didn't "feel the road" as well. the one i saw was pretty...ivory.

any help would be appreciated.
