Interior Fan Stopped Working - Saab Forums

I have a 2000 9-5 Aero and the interior ventilation fan just stopped. The fan speed adjustment seems to work, but the fan doesn't blow. I check fuses. Is there a relay too? Any ideas? TIA

best case scenario woudl be a bad switch, as that is probably the least expensive to fix...

For future reference: IF the fan made any noises before quitting it is most likely the blower motor.

you might want to find a repair chart i have seen a lot of blower modules go bad there on the right side of the heater box about a 1 1/2 square box just behind the console front panel

Do you mean the blower resistor or the relay?

I ran into the same problem recently - middle of winter. Heat but no fan. Now with the hot weather finally coming to NH I need the blower for AC. Did you locate the problem/solution?
