My 2001 9-3's drivers side high beam lamp would periodically not work. Yesterday I replaced both bulbs with brand new bulbs but now my high beams do not work at all. When I try to swtich to high beams the headlights go off completely. If I step out of the car and look closely, the passenger side headlamp is very dimly lit while the drivers side is completey dark. The driving lights still work, fog lights still work and low beams still work.
Has anyone else experienced this?
I read that the 900 had a relay issue which could affect the high beams and that the 9-3 has a code which enables/disengages the high beam function but the shop can activate this code or turn it off.
Thanks in advance

Hey Roto. Relay came in the mail. Plugged right in and fixed the problem. I'm glad too. The only place in my area that works on Saabs is our Cadillac dealership and they would have charged me a small fortune.
I hate Caddy/Saab combinations...I went to one of those before and they totally sucked. The Jag/Range/Saab I go to when I need Tech2 stuff is the greatest.

Around the Pacific NW you only have 1 or 2 choices; everyone has to do for themselves "round here". We should have some gathering to help each other out.......
do a bunch of service or mod's all at the same time.
