Default Oil/Grease smell in '00 Saab 9-5

Does anyone have information on what would cause an oli/grease smell in a Saab 9-5 SE '00. I have had a few Saabs before but this one has an odd smell. I took it to a Saab specialist and everything checked out fine. Any information would be helpful.

Cheers

Default Oil/Grease smell

Thanks for the reply. It is coming from the HVAC system. It is present when the car isn't running.

Default Oil/Grease smell part 2

I wanted to clarify my response. It smells only on the interior whether it is running or not. I do not smell anything on the exterior of the car.

You sure it's oil that you're smelling and not antifreeze? I had coolant leaking from the heater core couplers and just sitting there in a large puddle...that was quite a stench. If you're sure you small oil than there's probably an oil leak around the timing chain cover.
