Is it possible to service a 9-7X at a GM shop/dealer that is not a Saab one (GM/Buick/Chevy)? Or at least emergency repairs if needed? I'm considering a 9-7X, but I'm in a place where there are no Saab dealers here, the closest one is about 140 miles down in Phoenix, so I was wondering of they can be serviced at a GM dealer or at least an emergency repair (like a damaged light or minor engine trouble)?

That's precisely my logic, it's nothing but a Trailblazer/Envoy/Bravada/Rainier/Ascender with a Saab body, but I'm trying to see if some has done it (or hasn't been able to do it)
eh, there may be some electronics that are different, but I wouldn't hesitate to take it to a regular mechanic....oh and don't let them charge you more only casue it has the Saab name attached to it. They tend to try to pull that.

The only thing that keeps me worried was having some minor failure and having to pay a wrecker to take it all the way down to Phoenix, but yeah. I'll probably call the GM dealers here to see if they can do it. I wouldn't mind doing the normal service down in Phoenix or Tucson, but I can drive it down there for service.
