Default Sheared off lug studs
Hi All

My '02 95 Areo has had the recurring problem of sheared off lug studs. I service my tires regularly, so it's differed maintenance. My tire place said they see this on Saabs and Volvos due to the configuration of the lug stud. The Saab dealership denies they've ever seen this before, but I don't trust them. Anyone heard of this? Suggestions?

Oh yeah..and what's up with all the hood emblems peeling off???

hood emblems peeling off is a way of life....never heard of the wheel studs problem...you can always get your new ones cryo treated...it's pretty cheap to do.

While we're on the lug stud topic. Is there anywhere to get a set for the car where I don't have to use the stupid black caps that are on mine? I have these plastic caps and I cracked 'em when I took the wheel off... lol Any thoughts??

get a regular set at eeuroparts for example, and get them anodized....than no rust, and no stupid caps...
