Default Auto to manuel conversion 9000 cs 96

Hello gentalmen, and ladies?
My wife's 96 9000cs auto has wiped itself out again. I replaced it once about 1.5 years ago with a used one(76k miles unconfermed).
So I have a 96 9000 cse that my father wrecked and want to pull the manuel compontants and put it into wifes car.
So far with limited searching I can only find info on a 94 9000.
Have I not searched enough? Are the 94 and 96 identical for my application?
Thankyou for any input you can give me.

Thankyou for the welcome.
Looks like I will not even have to remove the pedal box, just add to it.
Interesting spot to put the master cylinder for the clutch?! Wonder how hard it will be to bleed the system.
Anyhow thanks again and I should be getting started on it in a couple of weeks. Peace.

Ok yesterday I pulled the engine out. I removed the tranny while it was on the picker. (this is on the manuel car)
Now going to get the shifer out.
I remember reading that one of the shafts need to be kept due to sizing, do I need both?
Driver side boot is in need of replacement but has not split. Have to check out pass side.
Going to part out a bit of the rest of the recked saab. I will keep the engine b/c I can use it as a spare.

pics are always welcome....DON"T throw anything out or sell anything until you're done. You never know what you'll need in the process...

Not anything related to the swap.
I've removed the auto from the cs, seems like the tq converter let go based on the looseness the gears in it. (guessing) The tranny blew all its fuild in a flash doing almost nothing, (wife was driving)

The cv shaft on drivers side is diff in circumfance size on the cv housing meeting the trans.
The other side is the same problem, however the tube between the the tranny cv and the mid point cv are the same lenth and seem to be interchangable.
This means I can use the pass side cv shaft up against the tranny from the manual inserted into the auto's tube.
Now here is my problem, is the location of the mid point bearing/cv joint that passes through the rear engine mount in the same location between these two cars? I realllllllly need to know this, with a tape meause I cant quite tell, seems the same.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Peace.

I wish I had a WIS on this car. One way to do it would be to reference the P/N may be even on eeuroparts on that mount and see if it's the same part.

I was going to call shucks and reference the starter for just that reason!
Why I did not think of doing that at a saab dealership on that back mount??????? Thanks a bunch!
