Hey I'm new, I just got a 2002 9-3 SE. (69K miles on the clock.) Any problem areas I need to be looking for? I will more than likely have many questions because the car needs a little bit of work. Just got a CEL, but the car runs fine. (I'm gonna take it to the local Saab shop to get it read. I am guessing its the o2 sensor.)

it's regular OBD2 scan tool. The only time you need a special tool is when you need to see what's in the TWICE or the ABS control module...and other parts not usually covered by OBD
