Default Rear folding seat

Hello all,

I've been a Saab lover since my uncle took me for a ride in his 900 Turbo back in the mid 80's. I finally, after years of Volkswagons and domestic vehicles, found myself tired of car notes and purchasing vehicles I detested. I lucked up on a 1989 900 Turbo Saloon. It needed alot of TLC, but after a visit to the shop and some minor part replacement on my part she looks good (still needs paint on the hood, roof and trunk) and runs great. I have dug through the owners manual, looked at several forums online and have yet to figure out how to get the rear folding seat to lay flat. Maybe it just doesn't, but it seems as if it should. So the newbie question, how do you get the rear folding seat to fold flat? Is the bottom portion of the seat suppose to come forward? Nothing major, but slightly irritating... thanks in advance!
