1986 900S
I'm SAABed out! Evidently, SAAB's and Germantown in Louisville don't mix; over the last year the Gtownrats have managed to steal my brand new exhaust, break my headlights, break my windshield, steal my radio, etc. So I give up replacing things twice and have decided to let go of my adored 1986 SAAB 900S. All of the work on the car has been done by Leo at Nordic Werks since I purchased the car (you're more than welcome to contact him with any questions about the mechanical nature of the car). Blue Book value on the car $3000.
Here's what's been replaced on it (that I can recall off the top of my head):
- exhaust (from manifold back)
- AC
- hoses (radiator and heater)
- Lower mileage transmission installed
- fuel pump
- fuel lines
- alternator
- thermostat
The car is being sold as is with the cracked windshield, cracked bezel light and no radio -- I'm just not going to invest in it anymore. It could use a new front passenger tire and a tune up. I'm the third owner (first owner a lady from Ohio who owned it off the show room floor for 19+ years; second owner a guy from Indiana who buys old SAAB's fixes them up and sells them -- only thing he did was put the transmission in). The car looks great on the inside for a 20+ year old car - no rips, tears, headliner not sagging. Send me an email and I'll call you back.
