I have heard putting a cold air intake on 9-3's makes the engine light turn on
I was wondering if someone could tell me
1 if this is true
2 can I do this without the engine light coming on
3 would it be difficult enough that I should just not bother and move on to the next job
thanks in advance

I did this on my 2000 Aero 93 and had no issues whatsoever. In response to your questions:
1. No
2. Yes
3. Not too difficult, just removed the old airbox, three 10mm nuts on mine, placed the cold air filter onto the Air Flow Sensor using jubilee clips and away I went. Mine gave me a lovely whooping noise upon liftoff. No noticeable power increase but did sound beefier.
