Default 2001 viggen convert electric- COLD???

Howdy- I have a 2001 viggen convert w/ about 65k on it. My 3rd Saab convert but 1st w/ 9.3 body style. I bought it this last summer & have done brakes/fr rotors, & new head lights on it. I took out the daylight running fuse for the lamps. My issue is that since it has gotten cold, below 0 f, my wipers, turn signals, windows, & top will not work regularly. the signals will sometimes work but @ times they click erraticly. The last thing is that the climate center has started to flip back & forth between top up/down read outs. That is, will show setting temps in degrees or 1-10. any help would be great.

I would start with testing the charging system (many autoparts stores do this free of charge, advance auto parts for example), than take a look at the ground cables from the engine to the body. When you're having a multitude of issues like that you need to start with the basics... if all that checks out it might be the DICE that's causing it to be flaky, but I can't say that for sure.

Well, no offence, but I didn't have much faith in your charging system scenario. I ordered the Haynes book on this baby because I suspected a loose conection/molex plug somewhere. I did check the ground as a shot in the dark but it was secure. So yesterday I took it to the car wash as it was looking pretty rough-salt/sand/slush on black will do that & viola! Everything is back in working order. Granted it is now about 20 degree's warmer, but a good cleaning always helps. I suspect this issue will show it's ugly face again so I'm still gonna check for connections that are common w/ the accessories I had problems w/. Thanks for responding.
