2003 9-3 SS oil change - K&N HP2001 oil filter?
Hello all, searched the forums, no luck, I am doing an oilchange on my friend's 2003 Saab 9-3 SS (epsilon platform?) It's the Arc model. We got a K&N conventional canister type filter from Advance Auto, but I have seen kits online for simple standalone-element oil filters specifically for this car. Does it use a conventional canister-type filter, like the K&N HP 2001 that Advance Auto told me would work, or do I need one of those new type cylindrical oil-filter elements? Seeing as it is ia self-contained unit, I'm more and more in doubt.
