Default 2007 Aero vs. 2.0T

I am in the market for a new (to me) car and now I am pretty sure I am going to go with a Saab. My original criteria was the newest, sporty, rear wheel drive, reliable car that gets decent mpg's but for every car I have looked at one of those criteria has knocked it out. I was dead set on a 6-speed manual G35 but a rev-up equipped 6-speed could end up costing me big bucks if I get one of the problematic ones.

Now I am trying to decide between the 06 9-5 and 07 9-3. I think I would get more options with the 9-5, and have the excellent highway acceleration that the 2.3t provides but its a little bigger than I need. I like the size of the 9-3 and the mpg's that the 2.0T gets but I like the seats and power that the turbo 6 provides in the Aero.

Can anyone give me some input on these cars? How would a mildly tuned 2.0T compare to the Aero. Does the Aero sit much lower than the 2.0T?

Thanks for any help you can give.
