Default 99 9-3 shifting issue

I just had the clutch replaced (new clutch kit and resurfaced flywheel) and now it is very difficult to shift into 5th gear. I never had an issue before, so I was wondering if anyone knew what might have happened during the clutch replacement that would cause that issue. In addition, when I accelerate from lets say 8 mph to 14 mph in 1st gear and then let off gas, there is a thud feel/noise. So far I have only noticed it in 1st gear. Any suggestions/ideas would be awsome.
