Default Aftermarket Fog Light Issue

I picked up a nice set of fog lamps for my 2006 9-3 and have set them up using some custom brackets etc into the bumper and looks great. I went onto the wiring and have a glitch.
I wired power into the parking light power, then grounded to a grounding point and they work great, the glitch was when I turned the car off I got a cycle feed (liek the alarm flash) from one light then the other and this kept cycling. It would flash on then off, then the other side on then off...
I disconnected power and re-applied and they were fine, then when I turn them on again it did the same.
I am obviously picking up a circuit or powering a relay but I can not figure where or what.
Has anyone wired in aftermarket headlights on a similar vehicle? any tips as to the wire setup?
This car does not appear to have the factory fog lamp harness. According to the dealer they removed on most in 2005 that did not have the fog lights, otherwise I would have used that
