Help.I have a52 plate, 9-3 saab (new shape). When locking or opening the doors with the remote, the drivers door does not always open or lock, getting worse by the day.
Anyone any idea's and also what can be done in emergency to lock it/unlock until sorted.

Took car in to a saab specalist to look at faulty drivers door lock, they said it needed new locking mechanism, but since getting the car back the lock is working perfectly!! So new part not ordered, must have been loose connection and when they have had a look round fixed it and were unaware of it.
I wish all faults are that easy!!
I had a problem with mine too. Well knid of. I have the 03 9-3. Several times for about a three day period, every time I would start the car I would get a warning message saying LOCK SYSTEM DEFECTIVE CONTACT SAAB FOR SERVICE.
I never did anything about it but then I stopped getting the message. Its been about a week now. And the whole time the locks worked fine.
