Hi everyone,
I just purchased a '03 9-3 SE and want to check/change the air filter.
Finding the Air Filter box was simple enough, but can anyone give instruction on how to remove the top half to get to the filter? I see one spring clip up near the front and it looks like several star pattern bolts that may take a special tool to loosen and remove. Any help would be much appreciated.

The bolts holding your air filter top on are called torx bolts. These are similar to hex (or allen) bolts, but have a star-type pattern. There is one bolt that is kind of hidden under a hose on the engine side of the box. You mayneed a flashlight to see the bolt heads.
