Clunking sound and jolt... HELP!
Ok so I'm new to the forum thing. I have a 1999 Saab 9-3 SE with 144k miles. Every morning when I go out to go to work I get in the car and start it up I live on a hill so when I start to back up the car makes a popping sound and has a jolt to it. I also can't take the car out of reverse before I take off unless I really force it. I don't know what this could be unless my transmission is going out. I'm scared that it is the transmission and that I will have to have it rebuilt and it is not under warranty anymore and then I'm screwed because I know how expensive that would be. So any information would be great! Thanks and SAAB ON!!!
