I am brand new to this forum and currently do not own a Saab but, I am looking to buy one and was looking for some Saab owners help/ input.
Question 1. Is this a good deal?: Gargage kept no rust 2000 Saab 9-3 2.0 Turbo auto. tranny(non SE) Convertible w/ 60k miles for $7,500.00. It had one owner (an older woman) and has all service records/ necessary maintenance performed. I drove the car and everything seems to be in absolute perfect working order. The leather interior doesn't have one crack and the convert top looks excellent. Also, the paint looks nearly flawless.
Question 2. Is there anything I should know regarding consistent problems (mechanical or electrical issues) these cars experience? I currently own a Honda S2000 so this Saab would be a daily driver for me. I've always liked Saabs and I am hoping this could be a nice reliable daily driver for me.
I appreciate your time and input.
Thanks very much,

I say for a great condition car the price is just right, you could try to bring it down a little more. One thing these cars have experienced problems with is the sludge issue. In order to prevent it from happening to you pull the oil pan off and clean up the oil pick-up screen and you will be golden
