I am a new proud owner of a 2000 Saab 9-3. I love it and am thrilled that so many others share my passion for the Saab! The heat and A/C only blow out of the bottom vents by my feet regardless of what setting it is on. For example, if I choose the defrost it does not blow out of the defrosters, just the floor vents. It blows out well and the temperatures are correct but the location of the air flow will not change. Any ideas?

Can we ***ume you have ACC (Automatic Climate Control)? If so, start the car and press the "auto" and the "off" buttoms ant the same time and release. This runs a self calibration on the system and will re-align the servo motors. Leave the car running until you see the "0" change to something else. If you get anything on the display other than the temperature settings you will need to have the "codes" checked for further diagnosis. Good Luck.
