Can the key-remote from another 9-3 be reprogramed for my 05' 9-3 ?

youd have to go to a dealer for that one buddy..im not sure...i know the 95 has a diff key than the 93....idk odin might drive a saab

Dealer only (or someone who has a saab tech2 and knows how to use it)

I went to the dealer, and they said it can only be done with a new remote.($55 for remote and $45 to program it)Do think they just want me to buy a new one?

They're BS-ing you most likely. Try a different dealer or an Indie if there's one next to you.
