Default manual shift gearbox

I am a bit confused about how this manual shift gearbox without a clutch is supposed to work in my 2005 Saab 9-3 aero and i have not been able to find any good explanation of it online... i understand the concept of using a manual but i am mostly just looking for advice on at what rpm's should i be upshifting and how to down shift while breaking or coming to a stop

any explanation would be extremely useful, i am fairly new to my saab and mechanics in general so any recommendations or advice would be awesome, thanks!
