hey guys thanks for the forum!! got in my 2002 9 3 turbo. car took a couple attempts to start, once it did it had no idle. i can run it fine but have to hold the idle in nuetral. check engine light is on-the swervy car light in the rpm guage is on. it does feel a bit sluggish but no misfires. there is also a cable dangling under my front scoopt that looks to attach to tha center of it-wondering if that is a theft sensor cable. at the same time car key battery warning came on and the coolant dispay came on. please help...

do you mean that it dies by no idle? The IACV may need cleaning. Is it the 4cyl or the V6? Picture of the dangling cable would be helpful. Changing the key battery is easy, they're available at wallgreens. Do yourself a faor and go to autozone and find out what the check engine light is for (they pull codes for free)

4 cyl... yes the car dies immediately when i let off the gas pedal.where is this part(iacv) located in the engine? its connected to a couple of hosesi am justnot good at guessing.
I belive it could...b/c I had a BOV installed on my car...worked for about 5 months...then bam my engine light popped on..im not EXACTLY SURE what was happening...but b.c of the BOV releasing air into the sky it was pumpin more fuel into intake for the fuel/air mixture ratio or something idk exactly...but it caused my engine to flood and threw like 4 different engine codes to pop up...so yea if your car isnt properly measuring the air it could cause it to misfire...deff...ROTO will give you the worrd for sure though
#2 can definitly cause #1. I don't want to diagnose this car without seeing. My educated guess is that it needs some TLC with the vacuum hoses/plugs/MAF sensor cleaning, may be injector cleaning and IAC valve cleaning and testing. Basically a fun weekend for a DIY-er
