If your display reads "TIME FOR SERVICE", you can reset it yourself. Depending on the year of your 9-3 convertible, the steps to reset it can vary. I just did this the other day for my 2002 9-3 Viggen. I pressed and released the Clear button, then pressed and held the Clear button until the display read "RESET" and a second chime sounded.
