OK so I desperately need to replace shocks/struts whatever for the front of my 2001 9-3.
BUT I do not know what to ORDER, so can someone dumb down the items needed?
Anyone got an exploded view of the front suspension of this car? I think I need more than just the shocks/struts, there's another piece to the puzzle that the bushings or what have you are all shot. My SAAB guy showed me by using a small crowbar and indicating there was a ton of play in this part that should be much tighter but I apparently can't just get the bushings,I need to order the whole part, but I dunno what it IS! LOL
I know this is cryptic and very 'newbie"-ish but if someone could enlighten me?
Also, so I go SAAB factory parts or aftermarket? Thoughts opinions? This car is literally driven around town mostly under 40 mph by my wife so I do not need the FWD AutoXer's Guide to Suspension Upgrades just the basics....
Thanks!!!!

Was the part he was showing you a lower control arm by any chance? When you're talkign about bushings you CAN get polyurethane bushings (stock are hydraulic and you can't get those) from genuinesaab.com
Exploded view courtesy of eeuroparts.com where you can order stock replacement components. (not the bushings, but shocks and everything else)
If you're looking to get a better ride out of the car I'd check out genuinesaab.com's suspension section.
