It's a weird one I know. But everytime is rains or I wash my Saab 9-3 2002 it has trouble starting. It seems like it'selectrical. The interior lights will flash and it won't turn over, aftera few times when I finially get it to start all the electrical stuff is reset, like the time and date. The battery is fine, and the guy at autozone said the alternator was fine too. It's been progessively getting worse since I bought it. But of course when I took it in under warrenty the couldn't get the problem to repeat, so they couldn't fix it. I am ***uming something electrical is getting wet when it's not supposed too, but what??

Put paper towels around the fuse box, and other major electricla underhood components and than hose the car....see what gets wet and go from there...most likely a shot rubber gasket on the hood somewhere...

Thanks I'll give that a try. I was doing some more reading and someone said it could be the distributor cap and rotor, what are your thoughts on that??
