Default Wheel bearing replacement

Has anyone done the front wheel bearings on the 9-3 without taking off the strut and taking it to a shop with a press? I want to do both of my front bearings before my first autocross this season. I attached the WIS diagram of the strut carrier/bearing/hub. So simple yet, so difficult.
