Recently bought a 2009 Saab 9-3 Sedan Comfort; vehicle has the Xenon cornering headlamps.
First time driving at night I noticed drivers side headlight seemed to not light up the road as much as the passenger headlight did, seemed to be aimed toward the ground. When parked 6 feet away from a garage door the drivers headlight beam sits a few inches lower then the passenger beam. Also, when lights first turn on they do not auto auto adjust (move up and down) and center, they just warm up in a stand still position. Cornering function (when you first start the car you can see the projectors move side to side however nothing else) does work and the instrument cluster/SID has no warning lights indicating a headlamp malfunction.
Before I take it back to the dealer where I purchased vehicle I would like to get some type of idea as to what is going on or could possibly be the problem as I am sure it is going to be a battle to get them the fix the problem as the vehicle only came with a short limited warrenty. Any help would he greatly appercaited. Thanks!!
