What happened to your engine? Timing belt?

Is there any damage to the block? Was the piston damaged? If anything I'd rebuild the damaged head, it'll be MUCH cheaper than a rebuilt engine. Believe it or not, but that is a very common failure on the V6s and I've been lucky finding good deals on parts for that particular repair.

Go ahead and take the heads off. You've got nothing to loose except a couple of hours of time. I've seen three rebuilds of these engines and it's usually a matter of a couple of valves which are around $10 each...plus new headgaskets and timing belt/tensioneer of course
