It's an ok deal if nothing is wrong. Put it on the lift, inspect the flexpipe for being rotted, look for leaks on the backside of the engine (those are costly to fix), take off the turbo inlet pipe and check the turbo for play, take the oil pan off (if you can) and inspect for sludge...
