Default Difference between Linear/Arc/Aero wagons?

Hi all,
I'm currently driving an old Volvo 740 GLE and am starting to look seriously at 2004 (or so) vintage 9-5 wagons. I love the drive, the seem to get good gas mileage and the luxury amenities for the used price seems like a great value! I can't seem to establish however any key differences between these models. I do know that Linear is the base followed by Arc and Aero at the top. I'd appreciate help from anyone regarding the differences and any comments regarding whether one model is more reliable will be very helpful. Thanks so much.

Cheers,
Vance
