I have a 2001 95 wagon SE... every time I turn off my high beams I get the chimes that says "front head light failure." But when I check the lights they're fine. I have also gone thru 6 bulbs in the last 18 months, both front and back. Any thoughts to solving this issue?
Thanks for all replies,
J.

we have a 95 95 se sedan and it has a problem w/taill light bulbs-brake light failure warning comes on.it consistantly blows a bulb every other week or less. any ideas?local shop has not been able to figure out problem w/out spending alot of my money to find it.thanks for any help you may have!!
Don't touch your bulbs. The oil from your fingers is what is blowing out your bulbs prematurely use rubber gloves or very thin cotton ones. This will greatly prolong the life of the bulb...Trust me been there many times with my 9-5
Good luck.
