Default engine code P1110

I have an 01 saab 9-5 4cyl turbo and my check engine light came on. The codes I pulled were P1110 and the code reader says "No definition avaliable" Does anybody know what this code means? I have my own personal scan tool and tried erasing it once and it came back.....any advice here would be helpful, thanks in advance!

Most likely this is the BPV. Easy to replace, but expensive in itself. Much better to swap one with a smilar car to check first and only them purchase a new one. This code indicated boost pressure fluctuations. Could also be a vacuum leak, but not likely.

Default RE: engine code P1110

I have an 02 Saab 9-5 4 cyl, 2.3t linear.

I actually had my CEL go on last friday and I checked the code yesterday and it is the same (P1110). I've checked forums about the code and I don't have the usual symptoms of the BPV problem (boost either being totally engaged or off). Actually, the car and turbo seem to be working fine/normal. The car may be slightly idling rough, but then again, if it is, it is subtle enough where I am not certain. Does anyone know what would be the symptoms of a vacuum leak or another possible cause of the error?

Thanks,
-Joe

symptoms of vacuum leaks...rough idle, increased fuel consumption, wierd nosies under the hood....OR no symptoms at all...when in doubt just replace all the vacuum hoses with new silicone hoses...these things do dryrot and they are a consumable item.
