Default Remote starter

Is it possible to inatall a remote starter in a 2005 9-5 Wagon?

My brother lives in Ma near Boston and has a new baby, the dealer tells him it can't be done. Winter is coming, please help!!

offcourse you can, but it cost alot more when it's not factorymounted.
Saab sells both electrically and fuel heated.

I think Javert is talking about a remote starter and not just a heater, but since there are safety issues with having an extra key in the car toget by the theft protectionit might be the best way to go.

anything can be done....but it'll cost a lot. And if it's a manual transmission the reverse lockout would need to be taken out/modified. On these cars it is difficult to do.
