Default 98 900 Cant bleed the breaks?

I am trying to bleed the breaks on a 1998 900. I can't get a peddle. I know you have to get a pump to bleed the clutch, do i need the same thing to bleed the breaks? Or is it the master cylinder?

You might have flipped the seal on the master cylinder...I've done it once. It's always best to use a vaccum bleeder...especially so on these cars.
