Default New SAAB What upgrades

I just got a 96 900 se 4dr turbo. I had a few questions on where to get parts and who's good.. also i have a couple small problems.

1 my car builds boost to 17psi and the drops and spikes while under full throttle? is this normal i've driven other turbo cars and never seen this before only when there is a leak or had a bad part but everything looks ok. any ideas>

2 also i can move my wastegate rod pretty easy so i figured it was bad. or is this another normal thing on saab

3 also i was woundering if i could use the Garrett gt25 off the newer saab 9 3 and how much boost i could pull out of it.
or could i use the garrett gt1549?
or would i be better offgetting some aftermarket turbo.

Default RE: New SAAB What upgrades

Wastegate rod should not move easily...may be an issue there somethwere...also replace all your vacuum hoses, that could solve the spiking issue. As far as upgrades try genuinesaab.com, but fix any issues that the car has before upgrading
