2002 9-3 convertible not running

hello, i own a black 2002 saab 9-3 turbo convertivle. the car is currently not running & i am told needs to have the engine replaced. i was wondering if anyone new if there is a market to sell the car? are there people out there who would purchase the car as is? & if so can anyone tell me the approximate worth of a car in that condition? thank you!
