ahem....let's decide right now whether you plan to swap the turbo motor in it or not. If not than this discussion will head in the entirely different direction. BTW, those motors can be had complete with manifolds and all for around 600.

i would like to stay with my engine...its strongwith decent miles...but would it be a good idea to turbo my current engine or look intoan already turboed engine to drop in it? and if i did go the route of puttin in an already turboed engine...which would be the best 1 to put in?

Well, all depends on the budget, but I wouldn't turbo the current engine. You'll still end up swapping the head and do all kinds of other expensive things that you pretty much avoid by getting an already turbocharged engine. It'll cost you thousands more to turbo the current one than to swap. At least this is my experience based opinion. That and you can also make out well by selling your current engine I'd pick up a spare engine and start building that on en engine stand... and when time comes - swap it in.

thats what i figured...now what do you think would be better to swap in for more over-all speed...the 9000 2.3L turbo(which i heard was an inline6) or the ng900 2.0L turbo???

inline 6? i wouldnt trust whoever told you that. the 2.3 is a four cylinder and it would be a better choice than the 2.0 the inline6 would be a 4.2-liter, inline six-cylinder engine capable of 290 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque. there is also an 5.3-liter V8 good for 300 hp and 330 lb-ft of
but these come in the 9-7x which is a glorified trailblazer with options idont think fittment of the inline 6 would be worth it

The 2.3 is pretty much an obvious choice. If you look hard on ebay you'll be able to find one pretty cheap. Also see if you can get the whole wiring harness and ECU.
