Default Help please

So I have a 97 900 se turbo with intake, exhaust, front mount, and boost control set at 15 psi. Just recently my car has developed a problem if I try to run 1st and only 1st gear out once the car hits about 5000 to 5200 RPM it just shuts it's self off.It will start right back up and run fine I can run every other gear out with no problem. If anyone knows what would cause this or how I can fix it I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Also the car has no fuel system upgrades, the pump and injectors are stock.

THANKS

too much boost and not enough fuel, the t25 is only rated at 14psi so your probably runnin lean and the computer sees that and cuts the engine out. or your getting detonation and its cuting out. either way if you plan on running higher boost levels.
upgrade the fuel system.

roto may have some to add to this

Thumbs up shut off

What turbo is the most common one used to upgrade from the T25? Thanks for the reply!

running a T25 at 15 is pretty much where you start blowing a lot of hot air which even the frontmount won't help with. The most common upgrade is the TD04 used on the viggen and some other models (9K Aero if I'm not mistaking). If I were you I would get a laptop with a lawicel canusb adapter and T5 suite to verify what's happening. Or at the very least - install a knock LED to see if that's why you might be shutting off. Why would you run it like that in 1st gear anyway? My 1st gear is pretty much useless since all it does is spin wheels in it past 4K RPM...
