Hi, I'm new to this forum and was wondering if I could get some help with my Saab. It's an 2003 9-3 arc with about 120000 miles, and I'm having some transmission problems. It's a 6-Speed Manual, and I'm not able to shift into 5th gear at all. When I try to, it doesn't engage at all, but you can hear a high speed grinding noise but not like grinding a gear really. I changed the transmission fluid to see if that would help, but it didn't. I think it might be the syncro ring for fifth, but I don't want to take apart the transmission just yet. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
