Does it happen when you turn or when going over bumps?

Re: Front end

Reading this thread Roto - I am experiencing the clacking/creaking sound from the front end when turning sharp at slow speeds & when going over bumps. Thoughts re: what is causing this? I checked/retorqued the front tire lugs, front struts appear tight, etc... Thx - Scott

Check your CV joints as well as the above. if one of the boots has a hole in it and it's clicking it's time for a new CV joint and boot. Not a hard fix. Couple hours in the driveway with the front jacked up.
