Head lights shoot too low
 

Hey, i own a 2004 saab 9 3 aero. the headlights shoot too low and its hard to see at night. they do move up and down when i start up the car, but there not high enough. how can i make them shoot higher. thanks

there are adjustment knobs in the back of the headlights. Are you sure though that you don't have bulb problems? You're describing what could easily be an issue when low beams don't turn on and you're running on DRLs.

I was playing around with the headlights today and i think i found them. they were not behind the lights they were on top of them. im gonna find out tonight if i adjusted them right, hopefully i did. and also i hope i was adjusting the right screws. ill let you know tomroow if they worked right. thanks for your help

My 95 aero ('03) seems to have this problem as well. Unless I'm just so used to the lights in my other car which are unbelievably bright compared to the Saab's and both have HID/bi-xenon. I have a poor leveling sensor in the front suspension though (will be fixing soon), but even when both headlights worked, it seemed much too dim. I'd put on the fogs just to make sure, and sometimes, I'd wonder if I had a burnt bulb.

I couldn't find anything to make the DTRL go into night mode, or whatever that's called. I only have the nob on the side of the dash that turns the lights on or off. I went through the instruction manual and all that junk.
